“The Dig” Bike Fest is on! To be held Saturday, July 8, 2006 in Osceola, Wisconsin. Schedule of Events 9:00 - Registration/Practice Osceola is just outside of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota. The Dig is a unique union of Mountain Biking and BMX, with riders competing separately, but using the same course. Bleachers and concessions will be close at hand to make this a crowd-pleasing spectacle! Bring your friends and family! Here's the unique part: After the Class finals, there will be a Trophy Dash involving the winners of these four classes: MTB Open, MTB Single Speed, BMX 18 & Over, BMX Cruiser! 4-up MountainCross style racing will be followed by a Jumping Contest. Both types of bikes will compete in both events! A rider could compete in 4 different classes – MTB MountainCross, BMX MountainCross, MTB Jump, BMX Jump – but we wouldn’t recommend it. It is July 8 after all – could be kinda hot, don’t ya know... Entry fee is just $10 per class in advance, and $15 on site. Trophies and product will be awarded to the winners in each class. Everybody gets a T-shirt. Good times will be had by all. Race Classes by Age, Ability and Bike Size Mountainbike and BMX classes! |
